Every time I enter a contest (or show my work anywhere for that matter), I get really nervous. The butterflies get going in my stomach for a number of reasons. I wonder if the images will be perceived and understood in the way I intended. I'm curious to see others' interpretations of my work. I'm anticipating the push to create better.
I am grateful and happy that in the latest round of The Portrait Masters Awards & Accreditation 6 of my images placed bronze. To place anything is humbling and I recognize the room to grow and explore more creative concepts. I'm thankful that Sue Bryce and her team have built a wonderful place for photographers around the world to not only showcase their work but learn and develop.
